Q. What is the weather like?
A. We have twenty-six micro climates within the peninsula. The weather can change on a daily basis. We suggest you layer, and bring a sweatshirt, or sweater for early morning and evening breezes.
Q. Do you sell aquarium tickets and tour attractions?
A No, but we have the local phone numbers for your convenience.
Q. Is there any "free family" entertainment available?
A. We have the Maritime Museum, walk-till you drop- on Cannery Row, and Fisherman's Wharf. Several parks to choose from, as well as ocean trails with barbecue grills, beaches, tide pool areas, hiking, biking and roller blading. Downtown Montery is a wealth of Early California History and their Path of History will take you on a walk of all the most important historical landmarks in the city. Dennis the Menace park in Monterey is a great break for young children and is free and open to the public.
Q. Where is the nearest market, drugstore, coffee bar?
A. Approximately six blocks from our location, you can find just about every convenience you need.
Q. What golf courses are available?
A. Pacific Grove has their own Municipal Links, and within a ten mile radius of the peninsula we have sixteen more courses.
Q. Where do you suggest we have dinner?
A. The award-winning Fishwife Restaurant is on the premises and there are forty restaurants in Pacific Grove, alone from the inexpensive hot dog stand at Lover's Point to the very fine Bath House. We have dining guides available for you of the entire peninsula.
Q. Where's the nearest shopping mall?
A. Within five miles of Pacific Grove we have the Del Monte shopping center, which offers a selection of large mall shops. We also have locally on Cannery Row our very own "outlet" stores.
Q. Do you have hair dryers and coffee makers in the rooms?
A. We have hair dryers, irons and ironing boards in our office for your convenience. Coffee, tea, cocoa, and spiced cider is available in the office between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
