Directions:
The Beachcomber Inn is a reasonable driving distance from three airports. About twenty minutes away is Monterey Peninsula Airport; most large carriers have flights into Monterey. San Jose International Airport is about an hour and a half north, and San Francisco International Airport is about two hours north.
Street Detail:
From Highway 68 in Pacific Grove, continue down the hill until you pass the Safeway grocery store on the left. Continue straight down on Highway 68 as it changes to Forest Ave at this shopping area. Stay in the left lane. When you pass David Ave there is a sign that says 68 West and you make a left at the Pacific Grove High School on the corner. This becomes Sunset Drive. Continue down Sunset Drive approximately three long blocks. The Beachcomber Inn will be on your left just before you hit the sand.
To our Inn from San Jose and San Francisco:
Take Highway 101 South approximately 50 miles to 156 West (Monterey exit). Follow 156 West for about 6.5 miles until it becomes Highway 1 South; stay on Highway 1 for about 15 miles, to the exit for 68 West (Pacific Grove/Pebble Beach) approximately five miles to our Inn.
To our Inn from Monterey Peninsula Airport:
Turn right at the stoplight outside the airport onto Highway 68 West (to Monterey). Follow the signs to Highway 1 South, and then take the exit for 68 West (Pacific Grove/Pebble Beach).
